The Senior Mechanical Designer is responsible for the mechanical design of new and modified custom automation solutions for the wire and cable industry, with direction from the Engineering Manager. This position is responsible for on-time completion of designs of machines to approved concepts, layout models, detailed drawings, and bills of material.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Industrial Electrician will work as part of a team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring components, control devices and related equipment in a manufacturing & machine building environment. This individual will have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications for panel building & machine wiring. The Industrial Electrician will also routinely perform troubleshooting & preventative maintenance.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Field Service Technician carries the overall responsibility for technical support of equipment during commissioning and service. The Field Service Technician will also at times participate in the assembly and/or debugging phase of assembly at the premises in close collaboration with the Lead Machine Builder.

This role is ideal for someone mid-career who thrives on structured problem-solving and hands-on testing, while also working on efficient ways to resolve complex technical issues. There is an opportunity to grow into a leadership position as we expand our service teams. The in-office position will require frequent travel within Canada and USA. Priority will be given to applicants with a technical background in medical equipment and experience with on-call field support.
