What You’ll Do
- Drive regional growth by leading new business development across dairy and agriculture while expanding and supporting existing customer accounts.
- Build trusted partnerships with producers, farm managers, nutritionists, veterinarians, and ag suppliers, positioning yourself as a consultative advisor and technology expert.
- Deliver hands-on value through on-farm demonstrations, training sessions, and field visits that ensure successful adoption and long-term customer success.
- Represent the brand at agricultural trade shows, conferences, and producer meetings, connecting real-world farm challenges with innovative solutions.
- Capture field insights by gathering customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development, marketing strategies, and business priorities.
- Manage your territory strategically, maintaining a strong sales pipeline, forecasting opportunities, and using data-driven insights to guide decisions.
- Support customers post-sale, ensuring they maximize the value of their investment and continue to grow their operations with confidence.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of sales experience in agriculture, agri-tech, animal health, or a related field, with a strong understanding of producer needs.
- Knowledge of dairy or livestock operations, herd health, productivity tools, or equivalent experience in precision agriculture or agri-business sales.
- A proven track record of consultative, value-based selling and building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and influence audiences in both field and professional settings.
- An independent, entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by delivering tangible, on-farm results.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
- Experience with herd management software, agtech platforms, feed and nutrition solutions, or precision farming systems.
