What You’ll Do:

Lead & Scale Engineering

• Own engineering execution across product, platform, and data teams
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering managers and senior technical leaders
• Establish delivery discipline, predictability, and quality across releases

Drive Technical Strategy

• Partner with Product and Executive Leadership to define the technical roadmap
• Guide architectural decisions across cloud-native services, integrations, and data pipelines
• Balance innovation with enterprise-grade reliability and performance

Accelerate Delivery with AI

• Introduce and scale practical use of AI tools across the SDLC (code generation, testing, observability, internal tooling)
• Ensure AI adoption follows strong governance, security, and data-privacy standards

Operate in a Mission-Critical Environment

• Ensure systems meet high standards for availability, performance, and security
• Support enterprise customers in regulated healthcare environments

Lead modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives

Build Culture

• Create an engineering culture centered on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with senior leadership responsibility
• Proven success leading product-focused engineering teams in SaaS or enterprise software
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Background in high-availability or regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, data platforms, etc.)
• Comfortable operating in growth-stage environments with evolving priorities
• Experience modernizing platforms and improving delivery velocity at scale
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled platforms or developer productivity tooling is a strong plus

Salary range - $160,000 – $220,000 CAD, plus bonus and/or equity, depending on experience and scope.
