Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including:
  • HVAC
  • Electrical and plumbing systems
  • Compressed air and gas systems
  • Purified Water (PW) and Water for Injection (WFI)
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation in compliance with cGMP, OSHA, and environmental regulations
• Support facility inspections, audits, validations, and calibration activities
• Assist in closing deviations, change controls, and CAPAs
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to implement facility improvements and prevent equipment failures
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, energy efficiency, and cost reduction
• Support contractor coordination and supervision for external service providers
• Participate in after-hours and on-call rotation as required
• Assist senior Facilities Maintenance Technicians with daily utilities checklists
• Work with the Maintenance Planner and Facilities Manager to keep the PM program current
• Support site security operations and coordinate with security contractors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
• Millwright license is considered an asset

Experience

• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other GMP-regulated environments strongly preferred

Salary range - $57,000 – $85,000 CAD
