Senior Manager, Technical Program Management – Software Platforms
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Technical Program Management to lead strategic enterprise software initiatives focused on simplifying and standardizing shared platforms across multiple business units.
This is a strong opportunity for a senior technical program leader who understands how large organizations scale common software capabilities such as identity and access management, APIs, cloud operations, licensing and developer platforms — and who can influence technical and business leaders across a highly matrixed environment.
The Opportunity
You will lead major cross-functional programs designed to reduce platform fragmentation, improve operational efficiency and create a more consistent customer experience across a broad software portfolio.
The role combines enterprise Technical Program Management, software platform strategy and people leadership. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Cloud, Architecture, Operations and business leaders to develop roadmaps, establish common standards and drive adoption across multiple organizations.
You will also provide leadership and development to program-management professionals while maintaining direct ownership of complex strategic programs.
What You’ll Do
Lead enterprise-wide technical programs focused on standardizing shared software services.
Drive initiatives involving identity and authentication, API strategy, cloud operations and software licensing.
Develop and manage strategic roadmaps designed to reduce platform fragmentation and increase operational efficiency.
Lead cross-functional programs spanning multiple products, business units and technical organizations.
Influence senior technical and business leaders to gain alignment and adoption of common platforms and standards.
Own program planning, execution, governance, schedule, scope, budget and risk management.
Establish and improve Technical Program Management processes, methodologies and reporting standards.
Lead program reviews and communicate status, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
Build consensus across teams where direct authority may be limited.
Identify obstacles, develop resolution strategies and engage additional resources when needed.
Drive continuous process improvement across software-development and program-management organizations.
Lead and develop Technical Program Managers, including coaching, mentoring and professional development.
Connect technical program objectives to measurable business outcomes such as customer experience, efficiency and revenue opportunity.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Approximately 12+ years of relevant experience.
At least 3 years of people-management or leadership experience.
Proven experience managing large, complex software programs across multiple products or business units.
Strong enterprise Technical Program Management experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Experience developing and governing technical standards across matrixed organizations.
Strong understanding of modern enterprise software architecture and platform concepts.
Excellent executive communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
Strong program planning, dependency management and risk-management capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively through ambiguity with limited oversight.
